When I began taking the classes, I had no idea how to make borders, how to make flowers, smooth a cake, or star tip a cake. Our class lasted a couple weeks and we had to make a final cake. I decided to go with pink and purple. I thought it came out pretty good for a beginner!
The next few cakes that I completed were for friends, and I began to sell cakes. I quickly found that I love doing character cakes, and found that I was able to do them fairly well, in my opinion!
